Strut Arms have been installed and tested...success!

Built a second prototype of the dual link lower control arms or Strut Arms.  These units fit 65-66 Mustang and 62-65 Falcon/Comet.  Ended up going with spherical bearings instead of urethane bushings for the inside LCA mount.  The spherical bearing cup threaded shaft is offset below the cup center to provide necessary frame clearance as the Strut Arms travel up and the suspension compresses.  Added steering bumps too.  Ball joints are Moog K772 screw in units torqued to 125 ft-lbs with threadlocker.  Ball joints are replaceable.  Strut rods are the same hardware as used on our adjustable strut rods (SR-1001)...

New Product Prototype is here - Dual Link Lower Control Arm

Adjustable Lower Control Arms for 1967 and later

Due to customer demand, we now have adjustable lower control arms for 1967 and later Mustang, Cougar, Fairlane, Maverick, Ranchero, Torino and other Ford and Mercury models that have all the features of our 65-66 Mustang/Falcon Adjustable Lower Control Arms.  We plan to soon offer a cost-effective DIY kit for those who wish to modify their existing LCAs themselves.

Dual Link Mustang LCA

Work has begun on an improved adjustable Lower Control Arm (LCA) having A arm configuration (2 points of attachment) vs the stock single point of attachment with strut rod or castor rod for lateral control.  Chevy, Pontiac, Buick used A arm LCAs and Upper Control Arms (UCAs).  Mustang UCAs are A arm design, but the LCA was a single arm design.  March 2016 Update:  A design has been completed and prototype work is in progress.
