Our new Upper Control Arms are here. These UCAs are perfect for stock type coil spring setups, UCA mounted coil-over setups or LCA mounted coil-over setups (UCAs built without the spring perch plate).
These UCAs are constructed using 1.25 diameter x .120 wall DOM tubing which is twice as rigid as 1" DOM tubing used in other aftermarket UCAs. The UCAs also incorporate a screw-in ball joint sleeve that resists bending much more than thin bolt-on ball joint plates used in other aftermarket UCAs. A reinforced laser cut spring perch plate has also been incorporated into the UCA design (plate deleted in LCA mounted coil-over setups). 3/4" high strength chrome moly PTFE lined rod ends never require lubrication. High strength steel UCA mounting plate and shaft assembly. Hardened steel shaft used at UCA pivot point.
1.25" of Shelby drop built-in. UCA mounts using the stock mounting holes. No Shelby drop hole drilling necessary. Helps to move instant center of vehicle to a better position for improved handling. Lowers car approximately 1/2" from stock.
Notice how the UCA mount is offset on the shaft. This provides several important advantages...1) static positive caster is already built-in without having to use rod end adjustment thus increasing the overall UCA caster/camber adjustment range, 2) adds caster without increasing the length of the UCA, 3) less likely to have to resort to shimming the UCA, 4) the greater adjustment range helps to center the wheel in the fender opening and get the tire away from the front fender lip where most tire to fender contact occurs. This all adds up to being able to achieve aggressive alignment specifications and have larger front tires without fender rub. Don't be surprised if you can fit wider tires on the front of your car with these UCAs (fender lip rolling or trimming may be required, aftermarket LCAs and adjustable strut rods recommended). Our test vehicle was able to accommodate front tires 30mm wider than before with zero fender rub.
When you combine these UCAs with our Strut Arms or Adjustable Lower Control Arms, your getting as many degrees of adjustment freedom as possible to obtain aggressive alignment specifications and have larger front tires on your vehicle without fender rub.
The UCA comes adjusted from the factory with +3 degrees of caster. The UCA overall length is slightly shorter than stock to improve camber curve and tire to fender clearance. Further rod end adjustment range can accommodate 0 to 5 degrees of caster and adjust overall length to add or subtract camber. Shimming of the UCA mount, adjustable LCAs and adjustable strut rods can provide additional caster and camber adjustment range.
High strength 1.25 diameter thick wall DOM tubing UCA. Twice as rigid as 1" DOM tubing used in other UCAs. Weld-in 3/4-16 tube inserts and chrome moly high strength self-lubricating PTFE rod ends.
Screw-in ball joint sleeve made from 2.25 diameter thick wall DOM tubing. Much stronger than thin flat plate bolt-on ball joint plates used on other UCAs that are prone to bending under high loads .
New K772 screw-in replaceable ball joint.

Caster pre-set to +3 degrees. Up to 5 degrees of positive caster can be achieved with additional rod end adjustment.
Static caster provided by offset UCA mount. Minimizes need for shimming the UCA mount. Increases overall UCA caster adjustment range and thus moving the front tires more toward the center of the fender opening and away from the front fender lip where tire to fender interference commonly occurs.
UCA ball joint center to nose has been designed to be as short as possible to work with all wheel diameters and typical backspacing without UCA nose to wheel interference.
High strength UCA mount plate and shaft assembly. Hardened steel threaded shaft used for UCA pivot. Easily disassembled to allow for rod end adjustment.
Works with stock V8 spindles and Inline 6 spindles.
MIG welded throughout.
